The Plano I.S.D. has a unique high school situation. The normal 9th-12th grade system is split into 2 different levels, 9th-10th and 11th-12th, that is high school and senior high school. Clark and Vines are the two high schools that feed into Plano Senior High School. Both Clark and Vines provide a complete fine arts program with band, orchestra, and choir. Plano Senior High School was recognized as a Grammy Signature School by the Grammy Association in 2004 and 2007. We are very proud of this honor and distinction. In addition, the 04-05 and the 09-10 Plano Jazz Band was selected to perform at the Essentially Ellington Festival at the Lincoln Center in New York. The Plano Wind Ensemble received national Wind Band Honors in 2006. In addition, the Plano Full Orchestra was selected as the Texas All-State Full Orchestra in 2007, 2009, and 1011.
